*GOVERNOR ALEX OTTI — OTTI FITTING ABIA STATE FOR THE SAKE OF POSTERITY*

Abia State is witnessing governance redefined. Under *Governor Alex Chioma Otti,* the state is not just being run — it is being _refitted for posterity_. As Dr. Michael Okpara once declared, _“Pragmatism is the soul of politics.”_ Otti’s pragmatism is rebuilding Abia from foundation to future.

*One thing that set him apart: His courage, competence, character, and clarity of vision.* Where others saw decay, Otti saw design. Where others managed decline, he engineers revival.

From *Arochukwu to Umuahia, and from Umuahia to Ukwa*, the evidence speaks. Roads abandoned for decades are now motorable. The Port Harcourt Road, Aba — once a metaphor for neglect — is becoming a symbol of renewal. Arrears of salaries and pensions that crippled dignity are being cleared, because _“A laborer is worthy of his wages.”_ The civil service is being digitized, schools repositioned, and health centers revitalized — not for applause today, but for the children of tomorrow.

He is fitting Abia into the 21st century economy: *Geometric Power in Aba* now guarantees industrial electricity. *Digital Abia* is connecting youths to tech jobs. *Clean Abia* is restoring environmental sanity. These are not projects; they are foundations. As Dee Sam Mbakwe would say, _“We shall work, and we shall deliver”_ — and Otti is delivering without noise.

The enemies of progress call it _“media hype.”_ But ask the pensioner in *Isiala Ngwa South* who got alert after 8 years. Ask the trader in *Ariaria* who now sees drainage work. Ask the teacher in *Ikwuano* whose salary comes before the 28th. _“Eziokwu bu ndu” — Truth is life._ The truth is: Otti is fitting Abia State for the sake of posterity.

Abia was called “God’s Own State.” For years, it looked abandoned by God and man. Today, under Governor Alex Otti, _“God’s Own State”_ is finally looking like it. Not for 2027, but for 2077.
