From Green Chamber to Red Chamber: Why Chief Emeka Atuma Is “The Unifier” Abia Central Needs in 2027



If you live in Umuahia North, Umuahia South, Ikwuano, Isiala Ngwa North, Isiala Ngwa South, or Osisioma, you’ve probably heard the nickname: _“The Unifier”_. It belongs to Chief Emeka Atuma, and as 2027 draws close, the name is getting louder.

He’s Been Here Before — And He Delivered 
Unlike newcomers, Atuma isn’t guessing how Abuja works. As a former House of Representatives member for Ikwuano/Umuahia North/Umuahia South, he spent years sponsoring motions, attending committees, and lobbying for projects. Ask people in Ikwuano and Umuahia: he was accessible. No long protocol.  

But here’s the difference: even while in the House, his projects and support went beyond his constituency.Isiala Ngwa North, Isiala Ngwa South, and Osisioma also benefited from his scholarships, town hall support, and empowerment programs. That’s why today, all 6 LGAs call him their own.

Why “Unifier” Isn’t Just a Campaign Slogan  
Abia Central is too big for “My LGA first” politics. We’ve tried that. The Umuahia-Ikot Ekpene road is bad for everybody. Unemployment doesn’t check your LGA of origin. Federal neglect affects Umuahia South the same way it affects Osisioma.  

Chief Atuma’s style is different. He settles disputes without choosing sides. He empowers youths without asking for party cards. He respects traditional rulers from Ikwuano* to Isiala Ngwa South equally. In a zone with so many interests, we need a senator who reduces tension, not one who creates it.

What Should We Expect in the Senate?
1. Bills that create jobs— He’s a businessman. He understands SME and agro-processing policy.  
2. United lobbying — Imagine all 6 LGA chairmen, leaders, and the senator pushing one project. That’s Atuma’s plan.  
3. Constituency projects in all 6 LGAs — Not one LGA eating while others watch.  
4. Voice for all— From Ariam to Amuzu, from Ohuhu to Amasaa, your concerns reach Abuja.

Final Word!!! 
Abia Central has tested many kinds of senators. In 2027, let’s test a unifier with legislative experience.  

Chief Emeka Atuma represented Ikwuano/Umuahia North/Umuahia South before. Now he’s ready to represent Umuahia North, Umuahia South, Ikwuano, Isiala Ngwa North, Isiala Ngwa South, and Osisioma— together.
