Hon. Alex Mascot Ikwechegh is a renowned philanthropist, businessman, and politician who currently represents Aba North/South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives. Popularly known as "Nkuma Dike Ndigbo", Ikwechegh won the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) primary for the Aba North/South House of Representatives ticket in 2022 with a landslide victory, polling 46 out of 72 votes.¹ ²

Ikwechegh has shown a strong commitment to improving education in his constituency. He has renovated and refurbished four blocks of classrooms at Ezeama High School and completed the renovation of Riverside Primary School 1 and Riverside Secondary School 2.
