The Retired Deputy Inspector General Of Police, Barr Azubuko Joel Udah hails from OZUITEM, BENDE LGA, ABIA STATE.
He had his First School Certificate From Salvation Army Primary School ABA. He attended the Ibo National High School, ABA & later Government College, UMUAHIA.
He attended the Foremost University, The University Of IBADAN and Graduated in June 1978 with a B.Sc. Degree in Political Science.
He Enlisted into d NIGERIA POLICE FORCE As a Cadet ASP in August 1979 after the Mandatory Service in the Old Oyo State.
He Served in so many Commands of the Force all over the Federation and Rose To the Rank Of a DEPUTY INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE In September 2010. In course of his Service,he held Various Command positions as AIG in charge Zone 2 HQS, LAGOS; Zone 6 HQS CALABAR & Zone 5 HQS BENIN CITY.
He had also held d Following Command positions as
CP Yobe State; CP Borno State; CP Kebbi State; CP INTERPOL HQS; CP Benue State And CP AKWA IBOM State.
While in Service, the DIG attended The University of CALABAR as a part time LAW Student & graduated with the LL.B Degree & The Nigerian Law School September 1999 through November 2000 and subsequently Called To the Nigerian Bar.
He Holds d LL.M (Masters Degree in LAW) from The University of Jos.
He Attended d Elite NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF POLICY AND STRATEGIC STUDIES (NIPSS) Kuru JOS in 2004 And Bagged The Award Of Member Of The National Institute- mni. Barr Azubuko Joel Udah NPM, mni, (DIG Rtd) was a Gentleman Officer who Distinguished himself in Policing & Crime Busting.
One of his Most Notable Contributions while in Service was the Pivotal Role he played as AIG Zone 5 Benin & subsequently Zone 6 Calabar initiating d process of d Presidential Proclamation of Amnesty to the Niger Delta Militants by President Yar’Adua. He also worked assiduously to ensure its Resounding Success with d Unprecedented Massive Surrender, Disarmament, Demobilization Rehabilitation&Reintegration of Tens of Thousands of the hitherto well armed Niger Delta Militants.
Azubuko Joel Udah Esq has been the Pricipal Partner of AZUBUKO UDAH & Co. (NKUMA CHAMBERS) after Retiring from the NPF as DIG in January 2012 with Special Interest in Realties, Conveyancing, et al.
He is The Chairman CEO of IDYLLIC FARMS LTD.

He was Appointed Chairman, Board of Directors of the NPF MICROFINANCE BANK PLC In July 2015, a Position he held for Three Consecutive Terms & resigned January 2024 after Eight & Half years in d Saddle. The bank has nearly 70 Branches all over d Federation from 13 Branches it had when d DIG mounted  the Saddle.

He held position of President General, IBONACO OLD BOYS ASSOCIATION for Over Ten Years,
Has held the Chairmanship of OLD BENDE PROGRESSIVE UNION (O.B.P.U.) ABIA SOUTH ZONE. Azubuko who is an Ambassador of the Kingdom, Assemblies of GOD Church, has left Enduring Legacies which Speak Volumes of His astuteness, Competences & has written his name in Gold!
He has Impacted And Still Continue to Impact Humanity in Ozuitem, Bende LGA, Abia State, South East, And Indeed NIGERIA With His Charitable, Patriotic & Philanthropic LifeStyle!

He is Happily Married to Suzanne Ngozi Azubuko-Udah And Blessed With Six Grown Up & GOD-Fearing Offsprings
