If Buhari Died Before Becoming President People Would've Gone To Worship Him In His Grave -Okorocha

Former Governor Rochas Okorocha has stated that the late President Muhammadu Buhari was a child of destiny and had a strong connection with Nigerians even before he became president.

In an interview with Channels Television, Okorocha said if Buhari had passed away before becoming a civilian president, many people might have treated his grave like a holy place and visited it regularly to worship him. Okorocha said Buhari had a natural kind of love from the public.

In Okorocha's words: "Buhari is a child of destiny. Why do I say that? I think the greatest thing that demystified Buhari was his running for president. God forbid but if Buhari had died before becoming Nigeria's president you would have seen people going to his grave to worship him. He had that natural love from people. Some people believe he is not human, I don't know the mystery that surrounds him, it is very unusual and if you go close you can't understand why"
