Chelsea’s players received their medals from President Trump, who watched the game at the MetLife Stadium alongside FIFA’s Gianni Infantino.
Chelsea are Club World Cup champions for the second time after they first won the tournament in 2021.

I have to return to the sight of President Trump staying on stage for Chelsea's trophy lift. When people say things like we live in a simulation, this is what they're referring to. Trump has made a political career out of breaking norms, but this has to be one of the weirdest things we've seen him do.
Reece James and Robert Sanchez were both clearly confused and bemused that Trump was hanging around for the celebration. Sanchez even had an exchange with the President. How I'd love to know what possibly could have been said between those two men.
