Seyi Tinubu: Not One Of The Children Of Former Heads Of State Ever Dared To Take Salute—Bode George

A former Military Governor of Ondo State and former Deputy Chairman (South-West) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Bode George, has, during an interview on Politics Today, a Channels Television Programme, faulted the son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Seyi Tinubu, for taking a salute from cadets during an event organized by City Boys Movement in Ogun State, some days ago.



Chief Bode George had said, "Even when we had Military Heads of State, not one of their children ever dare to be taking a quarter guard salute. It is absolutely irresponsible, and I want to advise that young man (Seyi Tinubu), please steer clear of this kind of people trying to push you into doing things that you will never be able to defend. It's unthinkable. Baba Obasanjo has a son who is a Brigadier now, did he ever go to represent his father taking a salute..."
