Police Officer Sparks Reaction Online As He Argues With Man For Not Having Dog License

A verified user named Harry on X (formally Twitter) posted a 2 minutes and 2 seconds video on his story. The video showcase a situation a man encountered with some police officers, while carrying his dog in a carton. It happened that one of the police officers, was adamant that the man show him is dog permit.



A user named Ken replied that;

The police officer is right, local governments should actually issue pet permit as constitutionally required, but most local governments don't know this and all of them do not practice this.

Another user commented that;

These are the issues. Dog license? What else can they not do? Oga, oya na arrest the dog, carry am go office! No words to express the shame!

The police officer is right. Owning a dog is unlawful, unless the owner is licensed. My parents own one, and they have license also.

Concerned Citizen replied that;



He thought they would start begging him so that his shoulder will go up. The people there simply ignored him and openly laughed at his absurdity. Shame catch the officer, he wanted to use explanation to cover up his shame and confusion. Oga you will explain tire.

Another user supported the police as he claimed that back in year 1980 in Nigeria, if your dog do not have a license, it was a serious issue. The policeman understood exactly what he was talking about.
