Nigeria Police vows to prosecute three Ghanaians for forgery, fraud
Three Ghanaian nationals are currently on the radar of the police over impersonation and forgery, the Nigeria Police has said. The police in a statement issued by the Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi said it has concluded investigations concerning a high-profile case involving the foreigners. Adejobi in the statement issued on Friday said the suspects – Samuel Esson Jonah, Kojo Mensah Ansah, and Victor Quainoo – have been accused of orchestrating a sophisticated conspiracy to fraudulently assume control of JonahCapital Nigeria Limited. The trio alongside their accomplice, Abu Arome, a Nigerian conspired to illegally increase the company’s shares in Houses for Africa Nigeria Limited and River Park Estate. According to the police, investigations have shown that the suspects also allocated 99 million shares to themselves using falsified documents and forged signatures.
